Boomerang MIS for FAST usage reporting
As a result of the implementations Mongoose has worked on, we (and our clients) discovered that, having invested heavily in the FAST technology, there were significant shortfalls in the ability to pull meaningful MI / reporting stats from the FAST search engine. We therefore developed Boomerang MIS to enrich a corporation’s reporting ability within FAST and allow management to monitor and analyse in detail the search results from the FAST ESP software. It is a standard product that can also be customised to an organization’s specific requirements.
Boomerang will allow you to analyse the performance of your search portal to improve search relevancy within your organisation. This is important because knowing how search is being used either by your associates or clients will significantly influence how you plan your strategy for improvement. In addition, you can identify and analyse historical and trend data, again helping you to plan for improvement with visibility and confidence.
The application can then be integrated with your current reporting solution, or we can provide full reporting solutions using Microsoft technologies.
