The management team at Mongoose IT have all held senior positions with large corporations in the private and public sectors. All have reputations for delivery and business value whether it`s the implementation and design of search technology, QA and Test management or forging strong business relationships.
Matthew Gittoes - Managing Director
Matthew joined Mongoose IT in October 2008 as Managing Director. He has significant sales and management experience with over 14 years in global account management and new business sales management working for companies such as Gartner, MicroCompass Systems and Maturity GmbH. Matthew brings a wealth of market experience and enthusiasm to Mongoose IT.
Simon Fairey - Chief Technology Officer
Simon has over 15 years' experience in IT, including technical lead roles, architecture lead roles, offshore development resourcing and overall senior management. He specialises in high level technical architecture and management, with a specific focus on search implementations. His knowledge of search concepts and practices has been developed over the last 11 years working with Verity, followed by FAST extensively for the last 5 years. Before joining Mongoose IT in 2008, Simon was a lead architect and technical manager for the Financial Times in both customer and corporate aspects of FT.com. There he was responsible for FT.com Search from conception through to its migration to FAST, which led to a five fold increase in traffic owing to improved functionality and site performance.
Robin Davidson -Technical Director
Robin is a co-founder of Mongoose IT. He is a highly-experienced technical lead with knowledge of large scale integration and development projects, across both UNIX and Microsoft platforms. He has specialist knowledge of search architecture having worked on FT.com's search implementation using FAST, and previously Verity - and continues to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the FAST ESP product suite. Robin has expert knowledge of web infrastructure, recently working on the optimisation of one of Europe’s leading new websites plus a major Search project with the NHS.
Daniel Garner - Technical Director
Daniel is a co-founder of Mongoose IT. He has over 10 years' experience in private and public sectors and his skills include Data Warehousing, Intranet / Extranet solutions with Microsoft SharePoint and the design of Search applications using FAST and other technologies. Prior to Mongoose IT, Daniel acted as Database Architect for Atrium Underwriters Ltd, part of Lloyds of London, where as well as being the technical lead for the development of the reporting strategy, he successfully delivered their enterprise data warehouse solution. He also worked with Atrium to design and implement their Intranet / Extranet using MOSS.
Keith Campbell - Commercial Director
Keith has over 17 years' experience in marketing, sales, strategic relationship-building and operational management of multi-functional teams, for companies such as Cable & Wireless, NTL Group, Telstra Corporation and The Corporate IT Forum. He is focused on building trusting, win-win relationships with partners and clients alike and ensuring that genuine value is delivered from any business relationship.
Mary Thethi - Testing & QA Manager
Mary brings over 20 years experience of Systems and Software Testing and Quality Assurance Management to Mongoose IT. Having held senior management roles within Central Government, Global Insurance Companies and Global Software Suppliers, she is an authority within this area and her bespoke QA methodology is deployed as standard throughout the UK Ministry of Justice Programmes and Projects. The application of this methodology has directly led to considerable cost savings and efficiency. Mary's experience is often cited and she is regularly called upon by leading organisations to advise, train and lecture on this subject.
